1.
How much longer can I stand To be dragged on down Pressure from the upper hand Right to the ground Enough have I done for you And time takes it's toll I'll go on till I'm through To save my soul I promise, I will break these chains The day will come, I will be free I know, I will break these chains The day will come, I will be free Beaten, broken and blue As I scream n' shout All sorrow taken from you I bled it out I take the strength I have left, Lord And lift my pain Taking 'em down with the rest, after I break my chains I promise, I will break these chains The day will come, I will be free I know, I will break these chains The day will come, I will be free
2.
Holy Smoke 04:05
The fire burns on and on Left without any luck or hope Before you know it'll be all gone It will blow up in holy smoke When you get drawn, by the desire To keep dragging on, till you are blind You crawl back, to being a liar But it's not enough to change your mind Unrecognizable, to yourself It is the face, you know you despise You will remember, you went through hell When there comes a day, to pay the price The fire burns on and on Left without any luck or hope Before you know it'll be all gone It will blow up in holy smoke
3.
Overlord 03:47
A thousand words wont break me apart Although I kept them sealed for years You only made me, have a bolder heart From all the times and all the tears You had it coming all along I returned to show you were wrong I am the Overlord now Youll give up your crown I am the Overlord now As you go down Would you have ever realized The change between, the rich, and the poor Your own reflection in my eyes Will you dare to say another word anymore You had it coming all along I returned to show you were wrong I am the Overlord now Youll give up your crown I am the Overlord now As you go down

The shawows trace your steps And bad fortune follows the storm It's too late to relent 'Been a sinner since you were born You know you are the one The one to take the blame Nowhere left now to run The devil know your name (the devil knows your name) Laughs will turn into cries When you're left without words to say Don't be so surprised When he comes to take you away You know you were the one To take yesterday's shame But now you have gone When the devil took your name (The devil took your name) (The devil took your name) (The devil took your name)
6.
How long has it been since, I saw your face I can't recall but my heart, wont forget And as we breathe through the years, darker become the days What we are feeling now, has led us to regret You ran far away from home You went on to be your own What were the last words spoken, echo in my mind It is understood, you couldn't stay to be true A perfect circle is broken, which is left behind However long you'll go, we'll be waiting for you You ran far away from home You went on to be alone

about

Recollection of a Journey, is a conceptual album inspired by stories and episodes from my own life. Each song is set as a chapter, which metaphorically tells a fragment, memory or an emotion, that I have been witness to at some point before. There are certain moments we all have to go through, which always leave a mark on us. However, life as we know it, has always been a big inspiration to me, and ever since I remember it has encouraged and inspired me to put it into some sort of musical artform. I hope the music will take you away on a trip of your own, or perhaps it will awaken some old stories from your past. Enjoy the journey!
